I was certainly under no illusions about the “spiritual partnership” as that bond was destroyed well in advance of the first email in October of 2013 although the Sweatt’s were unaware of it. Financial issues are often responsible for breakups in marriages as well as in personal and business relationships. That and or greed appear to be at issue in this case if the state of the financial records are any indication. If I as sole owner of a corporation decide to misuse funds it may be ill-advised (stupid also comes to mind) but it’s not illegal. If I as a partner in a corporation shirk my fiduciary responsibility then that is another story. Freedom Ranch or the Sweatt’s own no horses as neither have any need of them. Freedom Ranch also has no cows as according to John he sold all livestock to his Son-in-law years ago. So the question is why has some $26,000 from the Freedom Ranch checking account been spent on horse feed and dog food? It is true all four stockholders can sign on the account, however, the last time George or Dorothy signed a check on the FR account was before John had the books moves from the corporate office in town to the ranch, back in 2007. George or Dorothy has never taken any money from the Freedom Ranch account. They have, however, contributed tens of thousands to the ranch and to the ministry over the years. Add to that figure the employs, buildings, materials and heavy equipment, and the tab goes even higher. We, like many of you, trusted John completely and never had cause to check the records. The record will show much more misappropriation of the checking account……..
