He’s not the only one perplexed as I don’t know what he is referring to. There was no “emotional meltdown” by Dorothy as stated by John, when Tom and Verna moved to the ranch, only concern for her sister. Tom came to me before he decided to make the move to make sure we were OK with it. Dorothy went to Tom and Verna to let them know she was concerned about them losing their investment if we lost the ranch. Evidently John is confusing the emotional meltdown with another time by another woman over a different set of circumstances.  That had to do with promises made to a couple by John about employment and insurance that never took place.
